Todd Kelly, Advisor

Born in Truckee and raised in Tahoe City and Squaw Creek, Todd Kelly was a member of the US Ski Team, competing for the United States from 1986 to 1994 and racing at the World Cup level for three years – with several of those as the top-ranked US Super G skier. Todd served as Program Director for the Squaw Valley Ski Team and Alpine Meadows Ski Team for 8 years. He has made living in the Lake Tahoe area a lifetime, year-round affair – working at Squaw in the winters and running a water sports lessons business on the Lake. Todd and his wife Alexis have now have three children ages 17, 15 and 13 years old, “known to terrorize the mountains in the winter and the lakes in the summer.”

Kandi Brandreth, Advisor

Kandi grew up in Ada, Oklahoma. Not known for its mountains, she wasn’t skiing unless pulled behind the back of a pick-up truck. Thus, it wasn’t until she met her husband that she developed a love for skiing. Kandi brings 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Consulting. Without a background in skiing or racing, she worked to find resources to teach her daughters. Her passion to find challenges and work to bring ideas, training and resolution that peaked her interest in the foundation. She looks to help coaches, parents and athletes become healthy and successful skiers or riders. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Billy and her two ski loving daughters, Bree and Kira.

Shara Coletta, Advisor

Shara lives in Tiburon and works in San Francisco at JP Morgan Chase. Shara’s work is focused in finance and real estate development, more specifically she is the Executive Director of Community Development. She’s known to be “high energy” …a lifelong athlete, and as a mother of three boys – her energy has become quite a wonderful gift. After years of focusing on raising three young and equally energetic sons (Schuyler 8, Sutton 7, and Sloan 6), they are all finally at an age where they are gaining independence and confidence through their own enjoyment of sports. Over the past three years, weekend ski trips to Tahoe have been a way to get the energy out during the winters, for the whole family. The Staff of coaches at Mighty Mites and Masters – have taught them to love skiing, snowboarding, and spending time within the Squaw Alpine Community. The boys have many winters ahead to be a part of this community and Shara would love to support its growth in all ways possible.
