SAF is committed to developing and funding programs in the areas of scholarships, education, community advocacy, and infrastructure/facilities.
- Scholarship programs offer athletes financial assistance (athlete scholarships) and coach continuing education opportunities (coach scholarships and certification).
- Education programs include projects to provide: mind, body and spirit growth for athletes; professional development for coaches; parent education seminars and resources; and community outreach.
- Community Advocacy programs will serve to foster dialogue within the community, including athletes, parents, coaches and the Squaw Valley I Alpine Meadows team management. The goal is to regularly evaluate and identify best principles and practices advocated by USSA and USSA Club Development to ensure our athletes will enjoy a world-class snow sport experience.
- Infrastructure / Facilities programs will provide funding for facility and other infrastructure development and improvements that directly benefit our community.
